John A. Edwards and Company was founded in 1957 on the premise that engineering services alone are not adequate. Close personal contact with clients promotes a greater understanding of the issues to be solved or the goals to be achieved. This approach has proved to be extremely conducive in stimulating good client-consulting engineer relations.
Our office is located near downtown Raleigh in a 5000sf office building where we have been located since established in 1957. We currently employ a full staff of engineers, technicians and land surveyors which have the capability to provide the full spectrum of civil engineering, land planning and surveying services. The majority of the experience of the firm has been in residential and commercial development for both public and private entities. We have extensive knowledge in the areas of planning, water supply and distribution, wastewater collection, street and highway design, drainage analyses and design, stormwater management BMP design, erosion control, construction observation and surveying. The Firm can also engage and coordinate special consultants, when needed, in order to supply complete services for clients with issues of a multidisciplinary nature.
